The students and I agreed that we need to adhere to the following rules to maximize the amount of learning and enjoyment experienced in class this year. These rules are based on this theme, “Treat others as you would have them treat you.”
If a student is absent, all homework and worksheets will be put on their desk to complete upon their return. A student has two days to complete missed work before they begin losing recess and/or getting notification to parents.
If a student’s homework is incomplete or very sloppy it will be returned to complete or redo during recess time. If this becomes habit, the student will lose the entire recess. Parents will be notified after the 3rd missed assignment. All homework will be posted on the school website each day so that parents can keep track of student’s assignments.
Grades will be based on:

In Religion class this year, students will be studying the seven sacraments. For each sacrament the students will complete readings, projects, watch videos and reflect in their prayer journals. Throughout the year students will use their prayer corner in the classroom to post prayers for friends and family members. Students will also use their prayer corner to spend some quiet time with the lord.
