For more than 50 years, the Iron Mikes have produced outstanding athletes in Mercer County. Trenton Catholic Academy encourages students to participate in athletic programs in order to develop and maintain physical fitness and wellness, as well as a sense of good sportsmanship and school spirit.
Athletic programs seek to provide opportunities for maximum participation by the general school population. All interscholastic athletic programs comply with local, state and diocesan athletic guidelines and requirements.
Over the last few years, the school’s facilities have received a tremendous amount of renovation. A new track and field surface was applied in Fall 2011, leading several meet officials to call it the best track in Mercer County. The boys baseball and soccer fields have been renovated, with new bleachers for the latter. And over the last five years, the gymnasium has received air conditioning, new lights, flooring, new bleachers and painting.
