CLUB DIRECTORY
ART CLUB
Members work on personal projects as well as school- related art work. Displayed in the halls and cafeteria, student art works help to inspire school spirit and to promote school activities.
The ACADEMY CHORALE
The chorale is open to all TCA students and meets during flex-time and after school. The Chorale performs at school activities such as liturgies and for special holidays. Community events include sporting events and choral festivals Membership is always open for new "voices."
CAREER CLUB
The Career Club offers members chances to exchange ideas and research options to help with career choices. Students discuss all aspects about jobs: goals, resumes, letters of applications, etc.
Throughout the year guest speakers from area businesses and business schools will speak at club meetings.
Meetings provide time to prepare resumes, career goals and letters of application in anticipation of obtaining that first job. Practicing interview techniques and learning about jobs in the all areas are other activities planned.
Career Club meets twice a month or as needed.
CHESS CLUB
The Chess Club meets every Friday during lunch time. New members are always welcome.
THE CORRISTIN - YEARBOOK
The yearbook staff works from September through February planning content and layout for the yearbook. Members make all decisions regarding theme, selection of pictures and writing captions that capture the spirit of the school. All Upper School students receive a yearbook. Any TCA student may join the staff. Meetings are held after school once a week depending on deadlines.
ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB
Members help plan various activities throughout the year to draw attention to our fragile environment. Their projects seek practical ways to enhance the environment and raise awareness through their annual celebration of Earth Week. Membership is open to all TCA students.
FBLA
The TCA Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America furthers the goals of the State of NJ. FBLA by providing additional opportunities for secondary students (grades 9-12) in business and/or business-related fields to develop vocational and career supportive competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibilities.
Members meet regularly.
KNITTING CLUB
Open to any TCA students/staff. The club particpates in Warm Up America by knitting sqaures that are donated to AC Moore. Squares are fashioned into afgans and distributed to agencies for the needy thoughout the area.
The Club meets every Friday. New members are always welcome.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
The Msgr. McCorristin Chapter of the National Honor Society is chartered by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Membership is by invitation only to those sophomores and juniors who meet specific standards in academics, leadership, character and service. A complete list of requirements is outlined in the Student Handbook.
STUDENT COUNCIL
Consisting of an executive board and class officers on each level, the Student Council is the core of student life. By promoting school spirit, organizing activities and fundraisers the elected members act as the liaison between students and administration. Meetings are held monthly.
THE TALISMAN - LITERARY MAGAZINE
Students produce an art-illustrated literary magazine from entries submitted by fellow classmates. Students are responsible for the selection, layout and production of the magazine. TCA Dancers
Students meet weekly during flex time and after school. Dancers preform during various activities including masses, prayer services and pep rallies
THE TRENTON CATHOLIC CHRONICLE - NEWSPAPER
Students plan each issue including news, layout, photography, features and sports. Writers highlight major activities of students. Membership is open to any TCA student. The Chronicle is published three times a year.
